今日は mission という言葉を何度か聞いた ／ “mission” must have been a word of the day

ある人が「自分で望んだふうでもないが、たぶんこれが人生のミッションなのだ」と言った

someone said to me “it’s not my wish but my mission”

なるほど.. ／ hmm

メッセージは「音楽の無い世界はどんなだろう mission は音楽の本当の意味を問い続けること」

he sent us some messages – one of them was – “can you imagine the world without music? what is music to you? my mission is to convey the true meaning of music”

世の中を変えようとしてみたり、音楽の意義を追求してみたり・・・ミッションというとずいぶんたいそうなことのよう　選ばれた人だけに与えられることのようなのだけれど

when someone says the word “mission”, it often sounds like something huge – like changing the world or pursuing the true meaning of music

思った ／ but…

混乱している人を励ましてみたり、道ばたのゴミを拾ってみたり、自然の恵みに感謝することを怠らなかったり　ミクロなところでもミッションは充分成立する　自分のミッションは自分の心が決める

i would like to remember some of my small missions – sending love to a hurt one, picking up a litter on the street and not forgetting the gratitude towards nature’s generosity – missions exist in a micro scale – and you, yourself decide your own mission

独りよがりでいいのだな ／ after all, missions should be rather personal

this is shimada kun – he always puts up with my rambling talk(like above) – with a compassionate smile, of course

‘66年生まれの私たち「二六（にろく）の会」です　現在の会員はふたりだけ

we formed “niroku no kai” – born in the year of ’66

he & i are currently the only members　

今夜はご機嫌 いい夜でした　行ったお店もクールだったなぁ

such a lovely night – the bar we went was super cool, too　渋谷の『dress』 ここ

ご主人の森谷さん　鶏のレバーパテ絶品　この次は知床鶏とやらをお願いします
