月曜に行ったまちなか調査の続報です　この夏、中心商店街で開催される「稲生町タイムトラベル」美術館の市民ボランティア団体アートチャンネルトワダが企画運営をする大規模な展覧会です

まちの不思議スポットや個人的に思い入れのある場所を洗い出し思い出の品々を展示、ツアーをして鑑賞します　商店街の人達の徒然話を聞いて回るのがこの展覧会の醍醐味です

現在それぞれの思い出の場所をスポッティング中　「とわだ時空調査隊」なるものも結成されました

we spotted more add places with personal memories – TAC’s volunteer group `Art Channel Towada’ are to hold an exhibition in the high street – old artefacts placed in the abandoned shops along with anecdotes from the shop owners will be the main attractions – they’re trying to find great spots for reviving old Towada

↓ 私が初めてプリン・ア・ラ・モードを食べた松木屋デパートの建物は今年ついに壊されてしまう

小学生の頃、この屋上で開催されたイベント世界大蛇展　アナコンダに震えました

MATSUKIYA department store (now closed and due to be demolished this year) – I ate my first `Le Pudding a la mode’ here – also, this rooftop was the venue for the World Scariest Snake Show – it WAS indeed scary

↑ 無くなってしまう前にこの場所で盆踊りをしたい！

this is my Cheese Place – I would hide in here – yes, you can’t really hide – that was the reason I liked this place

シャッター通り・空き店舗だらけなどと揶揄されることが多い十和田の街、だからこそもう一度光を当ててみたい　私たちの個人史が詰まった大切な場所であるのだから

Towada is renowned for its shuttered street – however, this summer, we’ll try to make a transformation of these places and bring them back to light – we are going to embrace our personal memories of this deserted area
